If you need to speak to a doctor when the surgery is closed please call 111.
This is for urgent cases only, where you cannot wait until the surgery is next open.
(This service is commissioned by the LHB).
In Emergencies when a person's life is at risk call an ambulance by dialling 999 and then the doctor.
An emergency is a 'critical life-threatening situation' for example:
- Unconsciousness

Heavy blood loss

Suspected broken bones
-
Deep wounds such as stab wounds

Suspected heart attack

Difficulty in breathing
In an Emergency:
- Stay calm
- So everything you can to helt the person but do not put yourself in danger
- Don't give the person anything to drink or smoke
- Don't put anything in their mouth
- In emergencies when a person's life is at risk call an ambulance. Dial 999.
