Routine Health Checks
If you are a registered patient aged 16-74 years and have not been seen for three years, you may request an appointment for a routine Health Check.
If you are a registered patient aged 75 years or over and have not been seen in the previous 12 months you may request an appointment, or, if because of a medical condition you are unable to attend, a home visit may be arranged.

Long Covid Service - self referral
Advanced Audiology service
For patients with hearing concern, bothersome tinnitus (noises in your ears) or short lived vertigo (spinning sensation) triggered by a change in head position.

Earwax Removal Service
If your ears feel blocked with wax causing hearing difficulty or other symptoms, you can book an appointment to see an Audiologist trained in wax removal.
Clinics are held at Pen Y Maes Health Centre, Beech St, Summerhill, Wrexham LL11 4UF.

If you already have an NHS hearing aid please contact your local Audiology department for advice if you are having problems with your hearing aid or feel your hearing has changed. If you are unclear about your vertigo symptoms please consult with your GP first.

By appointment with the health visitor:
The practice operates a Child Health and Development Service in conjunction with the health visitors. The health visitors also operate the child health clinic and the childrens immunisations. You can contact them on 01978 752776.
By appointment with the midwife:

The Midwife provides weekly clinics for antenatal care. She can provide leaflets on health advice for pregnant women.
